Swami Dayananda English School, Manjakkudi (Unaided School)
- This is the first English medium school in Manjakkudi and was started in 2007 for LKG students. In 2008, due to overwhelming applications, the school created additional sections for UKG. Today there are classes up to 5th standard and SDET plans to create a full-fledged Matriculation Higher Secondary School by 2015.
- The school ensures that each class does not have more than 25 children to maintain an ideal student teacher ratio. Currently, there are 260 students and 15 staff members.
- The infrastructure and facilities offered here are at par with any urban nursery school. The teachers are qualified with either a Masters Degree or B.Ed. Three exclusive school vans help the children commute to and from the 28 surrounding villages.
